Have I Told You Lately How Much I Love Claire

Dylan brought home his W-2 last night. We opened it and discussed it and placed it with a few of his business documents on the coffee table.

This morning it was morning routine as usual. Me in the bathroom getting ready and Dylan in the laundry room ironing his shirt for work (I am such a bad wife) As Dylan is ironing with his back to the door Claire walks in turns on the paper shredder and proceeds to shred, Dylan turned around in time to notice that it was in fact the W-2 as it quickly was gobbled up. AHHHHHHHHHHH! That's all I can say. AHHHHHHHHHH! That was the only paper she grabbed out of all the papers on the coffee table. Love her, Love her, Love her. Maybe saying this will help things.

Oh no! When I read the title and then saw the picture I didn't get it... but then I read on. *aaaahhh* from me too on your behalf. Good thing Claire is so dang cute, I think that's her saving grace today :-D

I have seriously considered bringing in the car seat and strapping my kids in for the entire day - that may have been just the trick to actually do it for me LOL - I am so sorry though - kyle would hyperventilate

Oh my! That is the definition of tragedy! I can just imagine the slow motion run to the shredder ("Chariots of Fire" playing in the background) as the last centimeter of paper barely escapes your grasp as it's swallowed into millimeter shreds. Sorry for the drama... just thought a little comic relief would hopefully ease the pain. Sucks.
