Infertility Update

Yesterday, was my monthly clomid check. Same news as last month. Upped dosage of clomid and no ovulation. Shocker! Yes, we are still scratching our heads. The doctor is having me come in on day 21 of my cycle and testing my progesterone. I guess they can tell by testing it if I have ovulated or not. She thinks maybe the tests don't read right for me or something. If that were the case though, I think we still would be pregnant by now. We are going to do this month again with the upped clomid and she said that regardless of what the ovulation tests says, sex on 10, 12, 14, and for good measure like every other day for the rest of my life. :( That's how it feels. If nothing happens by the end of February we will do a procedure where they pump dye into my fallopian tubes to make sure nothing is blocked. I asked her since I have already had one child if this was really needed. She said, "well things change." I really feel like I am getting no where. Sperm count: Okay there
Anatomic defects: well it is my body, who knows, looked okay when we checked nine years ago
Disease: Okay there
Fallopian tube scarring: Next place to look if we aren't pregnant in two months

Sorry, Sarah. I can't imagine the frustration you're feeling. I hope everything works out for you and you can get pregnant soon!

I will never understand why this happens - I am just praying it will be over soon, soon, soon!
But having sex every other day, that sounds like fun homework to me!!! You should do that for the rest of your life anyway!

was that a frowny face after sex every other day for the rest of your life? that does make it a job when you are trying to get pregnant.

I had to do the clomid thing- Uhg, it made me sick sick sick! But it got me my sweet little Ethan! My sister just had the dye thing done, her doctor said, sometimes it clears out whatever is causing the blockage, she said it wasn't a big deal procedure, she is starting clomid next month. More prayers coming your way.
