Yes, that is a river running on the side of my house. I truly love Texas storms. I was so excited to go to bed last night, knowing that I would be awakened by thunder and lightening shaking my house. Dylan thinks I'm crazy, but what's new? I could sit on my porch for hours and just soak it all in. Storms here are amazing March-May September-November my favorite times of the year.

I love the rain as long as I don't HAVE to go out anywhere in it:) And I totally do not understand the way they have to have a river running through our yards here to have drainage???!!! Our old house was not built this way and it bugs me!

its true that driving in it and running into places during a torrential downpour is not fun. all the more reason to stay home and enjoy the rainy day.

I love the big thunder storms too! I could watch them for hours. Well, if my kids weren't so darned scared of them I mean!
Me too! I absolutely loooove the thunderstorms and lightening, except when it burns the dard drive on your computer!
