She Is Practically Perfect

I can't say it enough, the world of blogging has changed my life. Less than a year ago I joined this nation of bloggers and have developed some amazing friends as a result. It has been the best tool for me to meet my fellow sisters in my own ward. It has also led me to people in distant places that I feel a kindred spirit with. Doesn't Anne of Green Gables call it "Bosom Buddies"

One such bosom buddy found out she was pregnant right before I did, I loved her snarky, sarcastic, yet resoundingly truthful, refreshing blog. I don't know quite how it happened, but I felt connected to this woman I didn't know. When she struggled as any pregnant mom does, I felt her pain, My best bud Janie was pregnant during this time period too and I watched as they encouraged and uplifted each other. As each woman gave birth we celebrated together. Gifts have been exchanged.

So, was I surprised when I found a package on my doorstep for my daughter from ARIZONA??? Not in the least. My Practically Perfect sister was just sending a gift to her niece. A niece who now says when are we going to visit her. She sent us a present so we must visit. As Dylan served his mission close to where she lives, I don't doubt that I will meet Mary Poppins herself :D Thank You Jennifer-- it was definitely the highlight of our very depressing week.

What a great story...how cool is that?! Who would've ever thought that you could connect in such a way? I, too, have met some of the most amazing and talented women thru blogs, their etsy shops, and small businesses. Love it!

Sorry that you have had a hard week though. I'm so grateful that there is always someone listening to the Spirit to know we need a "pick me up" exactly when we need it the most! Hope this next week proves much better...

Blogging has made my life better, too, for one, I got to know you because of it, and I am so grateful for that! I am so sorry for what you guys are going through right now...I've been there, I completely understand, and I would love to do what I can to uplift you...if you wanna girl date to the temple, I'm up for it anytime! (but I expire the end of Sept, I need to get it renewed...I will ASAP!) Love you, girl!

Sarah, I know what you are going through. I feel like we have had trial after trial for the four years that we have been married. We have been out of a job twice in the past two years. Not a situation that anyone wants to be in! I know that it will get better. It is finally starting to for us. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I am sure this won't last for long. There is bound to be another trial coming as soon as this one passes. I love you Sarah! You are such a sweet example of goodness! You looked absolutely beautiful at the temple the other night!

Sarah, I am not sure what is going on with you,but I am here for you if you need me. We have had our fair share of trials due to my strokes and almost $1,000 per month medical expenses so our life is quite crazy, but I am still a good listener. :)
