I convinced
my husband
and
my daughter
that today was
Mother's Day
We truly believed that it was
They concocted a plan
for
breakfast in bed
and
a bubble bath
all very special and nice
I kept thinking it was odd
that
Mother's Day
was on
fast Sunday
yeah, we forgot that too,
until we got to church and made the realization
Seems our lives are so crazy right now
We are running on our own strange

Hee, hee:) I think we need 2 days to celebrate US anyway:) I always tell my family Mother's day is NOT just Sunday...it is the WHOLE MOther's day weekend....b/c I'll be honest---Sunday is not aday of rest for me and we have to do dinner at Steve's parents...so how is it that between church and dinner that I get any time for ME? Or any projects done for ME? So I have tried to drill it into their heads that it is Saturday and Sunday....but Steve gets the same on Father's day so I think it's fair:)
