Last Friday night and Saturday morning I had an AMAZING OPPORTUNITY.
Janie allowed me to be with her during
labor and delivery.
As women we don't get to "see" our children being born,
we live it.
It was like an out of body experience,
even better I got to view it and capture it all
through janie's camera.
It was amazing, and I will never
forget:
janie's contractions,
seeing the head,
and
looking at Meg
both of us
with
tears in our eyes.
Life is Beautiful!

isn't it an amazing thing to witness birth? i was able to be at one of my sisters births and i'll never forget it! what a wonderful gift she gave you!
My mom attended my son's birth and she used those exact same words..."out of body experience".
Nothing brings tears to my eyes quicker than a fresh newborn. BEAUTIFUL!
How wonderful that you were able to be there-I'm totally jealous! But I'm also happy that you are such a great friend to Janie. Keep up the good work!

Wow, how neat! I just have c-sections so sometimes I feel a little left-out. Sad.
BTW, I love that new picture of Claire at the top of the page. It is BEAUTIFUL!!!
It meant a lot to me that you were there - especially all night. This was hard being far away from family, but you being there made me know I still have a cheering squad - and that made all the difference!!!!
